I'm Paul. I designed the widely adopted Blackbird SK-5 for Ontario Knife Company and ran Hedgehog Leatherworks for years before founding Durasheath. As a bushcrafter, it always bothered me to settle for a sub-standard sheath: poor retention, uncomfortable carry, overall mediocrity.
Durasheath is my answer: maximize every aspect that improves core function, and skip any feature that would diminish it. Everything is designed, formed, and sewn in Columbia, Missouri, and every sheath is fit-checked with a real knife before it ships. I stand behind my work.

Before you order
Right handed vs. left handed?
It's the side of your body you carry on, and the hand that draws the knife. A right-handed sheath hangs on your right hip and is drawn with your right hand. Just match your dominant hand.
Will it fit other knives?
No. The fit is engineered to the exact dimensions of the Garberg blade. A different knife won't seat properly and could damage the knife, the sheath, or you.
What's the warranty?
If your sheath fails, we repair or replace it. This applies to the original owner for as long as we're in business. Modification or obvious misuse isn't covered. If a discontinued model can't be repaired, we offer store credit.
What's the return policy?
Full refund of the product price if we receive it within 30 days of delivery, in original like-new condition with no scratches or scuffs.
Do you ship outside the USA?
Yes, we ship to most countries. Contact us for a shipping quote. USA shipping is free, typically USPS Ground Advantage, with tracking emailed on shipment.
Can you make me a custom sheath?
Sorry, we don't offer custom work or modifications. Our process doesn't lend itself to one-offs. But we're expanding the line and would love suggestions for which knives to support next.
